ABA Stands for applied behavior analysis.

The scientific approach to understanding behavior.

At Golden Stars ABA, we believe that individualized therapy is the best way to help children with disabilities. The Surgeon General’s Report on Mental Health, based on 30 years of research, finds ABA therapy effective in “reducing inappropriate behavior and in acquiring language skills, increasing communication, ability to learn, and appropriate social behavior” early in life.

Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide evidence-based treatment using the principles of autism applied behavior analysis (ABA), including discrete trial training and naturalistic teaching strategies. We develop goals to help individuals with autism in the following areas:

  • Language
  • Communication
  • Academics
  • Play
  • Imitation
  • Self help
  • Social/emotional regulation
  • Community and safety skills
  • Adaptive skills
  • Organization and executive functioning
  • Behavior management
